Carnival holiday.

My hello good people around the world! I'm feeling awesome, aren't you guys feeling awesome as well? Ok I'm a little way too overjoyed, but oh well, that's what I get for waking up at 6am (registering, AGAIN, 6am! - first time ever for the last 4 months I've been on vacation). So I went for a long run. Not too long, not as nearly as long as I've wanted, but long enough to make me get to my aunt's.

Yesterday, I came over to my aunt's house and we had a delicious oven roasted chicken.

The tomatoes were all mine 'cause c'mon who can eat lunch without a little raw something? (anything?)

She has this really reaaally cute dog and I was all over him... I've always wanted I dog but my mom has phobia of dogs (?).

I just came from a light run with him and he might never get close to me again. As soon as we walked in he totally crashed. Now he's weirdly avoiding me.

After that, my lil cousin and I went to get some yummies for a snack.

I just want to get aaaall of them at once! ):

He said he really (really, please, pleaaaase! - ok maybe he didn't beg that much) to be on my blog :)

I told him he had to look really cute if he wanted to make it to my blog. So he tried a little cute smile...

... and then he got tired of faking it.

We got some cheese bread, 'cause I just can't live without it.

I don't know how I manage to stay a whole year in Argentina without those...

Oh and we also got this really extremely amazingly whole wheat french bread made out of granola and walnuts... I'm pretty sure I went to Nirvana and back when I tasted it.

Look at how gigantic the walnuts were!

So my aunt, my cousins and I were eating and minding our own business, when, out of nowhere, my aunt from Brasilia pops in with her husband and my cousin (and a lot more of food). And of course we had to eat again, I mean it's really rude to live your relatives eating by themselves.

Yummies and family are like <3

Yesterday was my day off, so no workout for this butt :)  Today, I woke up really early and then ran to my aunt's house to stay here with the troupe (oh, it's carnival here!, that's why they're staying 'till Wednesday :) ).
Hope you guys are having an awesome time. We are cooking lunch (by we I mean the aunts :) I mean why would I cook with two experts at home?).

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Have you guys ever run to get to somewhere you were already supposed to be?

I do this all the time. I mean, c'mon, it's like killing two birds with one rock (no, I don't kill birds).

Do your aunts cook like amazingly foods without even reading any recipe at all?

ALL OF THEM. They don't even own any recipe book. Yet they always cook dishes that you can barely stop eating. I mean, really, it's insane.

  1. OMG LOOK at all that FOOD! I'm hungry just looking at it... I absolutely DO run to get to places I need to be- it can be embarassing to show up all red and sweaty but I do it anyway.
Like yours, ALL my Aunts are fantastic cooks and can whip up a 5 course meal without getting flustered or shecking the cookbook. Hoping that it is genetic and that I'll be so cool one day...
